For our future, and the future of our children, we support
the Scientific Research Program and Active Seal Rescue of
the Dutch Seal Rescue Center in Pieterburen (www.zeehondencreche.nl).
After releasing seal Casper in April 2010, in order to close off 2010 properly, we adopted 2 more seals: Andrea and Floris. Andrea was released in the cold weather and snow storms at Vlieland on December 17, 2010, Floris will be early 2011.

The SPS-2008 seal babies: Christine, Zeal and Little Richard, all found in the first week of January, all regained health and strength and were released in spring 2008.
Seal Rick was released in October just below Schiermonnikoog.
Seals Daan, Rein and Henk were released early 2009.
January 2008: at Ameland (one of the Dutch islands) a baby seal crawled 2km landinwards and was found on the iceskating ring. This exceptional achievement nearly killed it (it weighs only 15 kg, less than half the normal weight) and has been adopted by SPS-Europe, named after one of our favourite suppliers: Little Richard.
In 2007 a storm on January 2, orphaned many seal babies and
Woody and Baloo were released on April 13, 2007 (with a healthy 48,8 and 41,0 kgs. respectively). ![]()
